Crispy Tofu

June 04, 2012 by my1stwordwaschocolate

I saw this terrific recipe for crispy tofu in the recent Fine Cooking magazine. They suggest serving it with sesame asparagus, but I used what I had on hand, bok choy, spring onions and carrots. I served the whole lot over bean thread noodles.

You should definitely give this one a try!

Thai Bloody Mary

My hubby had his with a SUPER spicy bloody mary. He doctor's his up with fish sauce and a whole lot of sriracha... Check out the drinking straw! We've got a gorgeous lovage plant in our garden. The stalks are hollow and make the neatest "straw" for bloody mary sipping. They taste like strongly scented celery.
